A Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party! (I think...)

Last Saturday all the girls got together to celebrate Meredith and her upcoming nuptials to Bradford. The day started off with a Bridal Shower in Herndon at the Welsch house. Complete with a beach theme we went all out with an inflatable palm tree, leis, streamers and balloons. The bride's only request was to have a chocolate fountain at her shower and she did a happy dance when she saw that she had just that. Mmmmmmm chocolate.

Meredith's friends and family took good care of her - she got lots of fun stuff. The bridesmaids got her the wine fridge that she registered for complete with a whole bunch of wine to start her off. All in all it was a good day filled with fun and laughter.

Immediately after the shower we took the party on the road to DC for a night out on the town! After much stress for me we had a lovely suite at the Omni Shoreham right outside of Dupont. We got the party started with pink champagne and jello shooters. YUM! The night starts to get a little fuzzy for me after that...but from what I understand there was dinner at Panache and then dancing and drinking at Lucky Bar and Cafe Citron. GOOD times.
