July 4th Weekend

What a busy weekend! It started Thursday night when Kristen and Ben had me over for dinner to visit with them and meet Taylor Page! She is such a good baby!! She just sat on my lap and barely fussed at all. We had a yummy chicken dinner, great wine, and even better Cold Stone for dessert. Yum!

Friday I was extra lazy - sleeping in until at least 12:00pm. I finally got myself moving in time for FNL! It rained off and on almost all night but it stopped just long enough for the fireworks. I also discovered the secret to a fun-filled volunteer shift....2 bud lights before hand! Definitely a mood elevator.

Saturday was excellent. George and Laura hosted their Annual Picnic and Jen, Courtney, Chris and I were there with bells on. We had a blast dancing, playing tv trivia, and eating deep fried turkey. Yum! The great night was topped off with late night swimming. We all went home to grab our suits and then headed back to enjoy "adult swim"....don't get any ideas...my mom was there too! True Story.
