Race #5...

Race #5 was the Herndon Festival 5k in (where else?) Herndon, VA! In the 22 years I've lived in VA and 21 times attending Herndon Festival this was my very first time running the 5k. It was nice course - relatively flat and went right through the festival but let me tell you it was Hot HOT HOT. Luckily for me and Kristen we had a cheering section at mile 2: Kristen's parents, my dad, Doug, Annie, Dave, John, and George. Post race they even had bloody mary's waiting for us. Soooooooooooo yummy!
